The goals of this program are to give youth a reason to say “no” to drugs, encourage parents to talk to their kids about drugs, identify early substance use, and intervene before more severe consequences occur.
Why should I drug test?
Teens who abuse drugs may have a greater risk of developing an addiction when they are adults. Ninety percent of Americans with a substance use disorder started smoking, drinking or using other drugs before age 18. Drug use can have long-term effects on the developing teenage brain. The best way to uncover a teen drug problem is through the use of a home drug test.
Parental concerns – Parents who drug test their children are taking a positive stand against drug use and providing a reason for their child to say “no” to substance use.
Confidentiality – No personal data will be collected. Testing is administered within your own home environment.
