The goals of this program are to give youth a reason to say “no” to drugs, encourage parents to talk to their kids about drugs, identify early substance use, and intervene before more severe consequences occur.

Why should I drug test?
Teens who abuse drugs may have a greater risk of developing an addiction when they are adults.  Ninety percent of Americans with a substance use disorder started smoking, drinking or using other drugs before age 18. Drug use can have long-term effects on the developing teenage brain. The best way to uncover a teen drug problem is through the use of a home drug test.

Parental concerns – Parents who drug test their children are taking a positive stand against drug use and providing a reason for their child to say “no” to substance use.

Confidentiality – No personal data will be collected. Testing is administered within your own home environment.

What type of test is used?
VistaFlow provides an instant drug test result in minutes and screens for 16 common drugs; alcohol, acetylmorphine, amphetamine, buprenorphine, benzodiazepines, cocaine, fentanyl, K2/spice, ecstasy, methamphetamine, methadone, morphine, oxycodone, phencyclidine, marijuana, and tramadol.
